What is your own definition of maturity?
Last year, I guess, I made a post like this on Facebook, but one thing with we humans is that, we barely acknowledge the naked truth about nature, but when nasty, dirty, and funny things are being posted, we'll see a million acknowledgments.
Well, your ability to acknowledge the truth, no matter how bitter it is, makes you matured.
MY DEFINITION OF MATURITY!
Maturity is not easily getting angry at things, that is, being slow to anger.
Maturity is letting go, even when it is difficult to.
Maturity is enduring, when the situation seems unbearable.
Maturity is acknowledging your wrong, even before a kid.
Maturity is apologizing even when you know you are right, because no matter how hard you try proving a point, it is definitely not going to solve the problem.
Maturity is, saying 'thank you', even when it doesn't worth it.
Maturity is, entering a cab and greeting the other passengers first, because they've been in there before you were privileged to join the cab.
Maturity is, controlling your pride and not letting it to control you. Even as a man.
Maturity is, not crying in the public, people mustn't see your tears.
Maturity is saying, 'please' even when you know you are older than him/her.
Maturity is, not quickly reacting to issues.
Maturity is not, fighting back, that is, paying evil for evil, but, paying good for evil.
Maturity is studying when others are having 'unending' fun. Especially, the word of God (Bible).
Maturity is wisdom, it isn't foolishness.
Maturity is 'gentle' and not arrogant.
Maturity is peaceful and not violent.
Maturity brings love, and not hatred.
Am I matured?
It is an error, if a 19 years old boy, is more matured in character than a 50 years old man.
Are you matured?
